GLIMR
Last updated October 3, 2026
GLIMR is made by GhostKick Audio. The short version: nothing leaves your device unless you send it.
What we collect
Nothing. GLIMR has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It doesn't talk to any GhostKick Audio servers.
Microphone
GLIMR uses the microphone only while you hold SAMPLE (or RE-REC in the sample editor), to record a sound to play on its strings. Recordings are saved on your device and are never uploaded. iOS shows its orange microphone dot while GLIMR is open so it can start recording the instant you press SAMPLE; nothing is recorded until you do.
Your files
Samples, recordings and settings stay in GLIMR's storage on your device. They leave it only when you choose to share or export them, using Apple's share sheet or the Files app. Where they go after that is up to you and the app you send them to.
Purchases
Apple handles payment through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
Children
GLIMR doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. If GLIMR ever starts collecting data, we'll say so here first.
